Monetary Donations
Regular gifts are vital to Hudson Cradle. They allow us to plan for the future, safe in the knowledge that funding is secure. Every regular donation, no matter how big or small, helps us continue to provide nurturing care and a loving home to our infant residents. You can mail your check or money order payable to Hudson Cradle, Inc. to:

Hudson Cradle can be named as full or partial beneficiary in a will, life insurance policy, retirement plan, annuity, or trust fund. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you, your lawyers, and/or accountants.

Matching Gifts
Your gift could be matched dollar for dollar! Many companies offer matching gift programs that will double, even triple a donation's value. Check with your company to find out if they will match your contribution to the Hudson Cradle.

Once you have determined that your company matches donations, obtain the appropriate form from your personnel/human resources office and send it with a copy of your gift receipt (e.g., cancelled check, online donation receipt, donation acknowledgement letter from Hudson Cradle, etc.) to executive director Sallie Porter at the address above.

Memorial or Celebration Gifts
Please consider making a gift to Hudson Cradle in honor or memory of a friend or loved one; or, to celebrate any milestone such as birth, wedding, anniversary or retirement. Your gift not only expresses your deep regard for your loved one or friend, it also helps provide greatly needed support for the infant residents of Hudson Cradle.

Hudson Cradle will send an appropriate card to the person or family specified. For gifts in memory, notification will be sent to the family of the person remembered, as you designate, to acknowledge your memorial gift. Please include the name of the individual being remembered and the name and mailing address of the next of the family member you wish for us to send the acknowledgement to.

For gifts to celebrate milestone occasions, notification will be sent to the honoree to acknowledge your gift. Please include the name of the individual being honored, along with their mailing address.

The amount of your gift remains confidential.

Volunteer
We would not be successful without our many committed, dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Sign-up to be a volunteer cuddler (daytime volunteers are needed), to assist in the office, or to volunteer at one of our events. Contact us at (201) 332-7879 to request more information.

Attend or Sponsor Taste of Hudson
"Taste of Hudson: A Benefit for the Babies," is held in downtown Jersey City every April. This annual tradition brings together more than two dozen of the finest restaurants, caterers and beverage suppliers from Hudson County and beyond in support of our infant home. Please check back with us frequently online, or drop us an e-mail to request to be added to the mailing list.

Are you a restaurant, caterer or beverage supplier?
We are always looking for new participants to join the more than two dozen that take part in Taste of Hudson each year! Participants are provided with two skirted banquet tables to showcase your menu or beverage(s) to hundreds of attendees. It's an inexpensive alternative to other costly forms of advertisement, and enables you to support a wonderful local cause. Call us at (201) 332-7879 to request your participation forms.

The donation of prizes such as sports memorabilia, autographs, sports events or Broadway show tickets, and restaurant gift certificated to be used for our Super Prize Drawing at Taste of Hudson.

Host Your Own Event
Host a diaper drive, or, a baby shower with the gifts going to our infant residents. Infant clothing, diapers, paper towels and garbage bags are always needed. Others have hosted bake sales, or, dress down days at work, selling Hudson Cradle Day buttons for $10 to all those wishing to participate.

Sponsorships
Individuals and corporate sponsors who donate their time and resources to the Hudson Cradle enhance the success of our services and special events.
